Welcome to HavenHighHolidayCottage.Co.Uk a beautiful holiday rental cottage with an amazing location with sea views right in the heart of Pembrokeshire Wales. Haven High is a fantastic holiday cottage located in St Ann’s Head in Dale Pembrokeshire. It is a 2 bedroomed holiday cottage overlooking part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Footpath and the Milford Haven Estuary. The holiday cottage sleeps upto 4 people and well behaved pets are also welcome. You can click on any of the images in this web site to enlarge them. As you can see from the various images in this website Haven High Holiday Cottage Pembrokeshire has some of the most beautiful scenery, overlooking the sea and also the coast path yet ideally situated for shopping and all the fantastic tourist attractions Pembrokeshire has to offer. The nearest amenities to Haven High are situated in the village of Dale which is 2.85 miles away from the holiday cottage, a short drive or a wonderful short walk. In Dale you will find a Post Office which also stocks a variety of groceries such as bread milk etc, you will also find the Griffin Public House which not only offers a variety of drinks but also some great pub food and finally The Dale Boat House Tea Rooms, where food and drink is available as well as the ability to hire a variety of water sports equipment to take full advantage of some of the best and cleanest beaches the UK has to offer.
Milford Haven is approximately 10 miles away from Dale, in Milford Haven you will find many many shopping places such as Tesco and other High Street names, there is also Dyfed Cleaning Services Launderette on Charles Street Milford Haven (01646 690 167). There is also a fantastic marina with some amazing places to eat, freshly caught fish for sale as well as 10 pin bowling and indoor adventure playground for children at Pirate Pete’s. Haverfordwest is approximately 14 miles from Dale and is the main shopping centre for Pembrokeshire, here you will find all the High Street names you arefamiliar with such as Tesco, Morrisons, Marks & Spencer, Next, Laura Ashley, Comet, Curry’s, Halfords to name a few.
Haverfordwest is a lovely place to go shopping, there are some wonderful places to eat and not forgetting the many tourist attractions located in the town such as the Castle and also a museum full of interesting historical facts about the town. Pembrokeshire really does offer something for everybody of any age.
Pembrokeshire has a fantastic range of tourist attractions for all the family young or old. Here we have listed just a few of the many many things there are to do in Pembrokeshire whilst on your holiday. Pirate Pete’s, Milford Haven: Indoor play area for children and ten pin bowling. Folly Farm, Begelly: Adventure Park and Zoo a lovely day out with a fantastic indoor old fashioned fair ground. Oakwood, Cannaston Bridge: A fantastic day out at this huge theme park offering some fantastic rides and experiences. Blue Lagoon at Bluestone Wales, Cannaston Bridge: An amazing indoor water theme park with water slides and wave pools a really great day out. World famous Tenby and its fantastic eateries and beaches. St David’s the smallest city in the UK with its historical Cathedral. Manor House Wildlife Park, Tenby: A great day out for all the family at this recently renovated Wildlife Park owned by Anna Ryder Richardson and featured on ITV’s Anna’s Welsh Zoo.
Boat trips can be arranged to the nearby islands of Skokholm, Skomer and Ramsay, these islands are not only a paradise for bird watchers but also in the summer months it is common to see visiting dolphins many of them with young calves. A great day out for all the family.
Not forgetting one of the jewel’s in Pembrokeshire’s crown of course our fantastic beaches. Pembrokeshire is home to many many beautiful beaches some of them with various awards for cleanliness, it is true Pembrokeshire has some of the best kept beaches in the whole of the UK. The picture here is of Dale beach. The closest to the chalet is Mill Bay, it is only a short walk and is beautiful at low tide, the next closest beach is Watwick which is around 1 mile away this beach is the chalet owners favourite. Pembrokeshire Coastal Path: Lying completely within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Britain's only coastal National Park, the path passes through villages strung out along its length, and passes through Fishguard, Pembroke and Tenby. With scenery including winding estuaries, rugged cliffs and sheltered coves, there's 35,000 feet of ascent and descent.
